Stefan chuckled, kissed her again, then slid back down fully onto the bed, pulled Aurora against him and closed his eyes.  “It feels so good having you back in my arms,” he whispered. 

No matter where he was, being with Aurora was always comforting, always calming, always amazing.  He felt himself already succumbing to sleep.  “I love you,” he said.  He snapped his eyes open, blinked a few times, looked at her.  “Baby, will you still be here when I wake up?” he asked, voice quiet.

“It feels good being back in your arms.” she said, resting her head on his shoulder. She smiled softly and kissed his jaw. “I love you too and of course I will. Get some sleep love.”

He smiled, reached over and gently brushed his fingers against her cheek.  “My Aurora.  My wife.  I love you so much,” he said, eyes drifting closed once more.

“I love you too, Stefan.” she said, smiling softly. “Sleep well.”

Stefan nodded.  “I was thinking about that, too, and I’m glad that’s an option for you,” he smiled.

“I just want a family with you.” she said. 

“That,” he said, kissing her nose and holding her close, ‘will be the greatest thing ever.”

She chuckled softly and snuggled close. “No, the greatest thing ever will be you coming home.”

“So, that’s a yes?” he grinned.  “Do you want me to talk to her?  See if she can do something?”

He pulled her just slightly closer, kissed her again.  Suddenly, his eyes filled with tears, but he smiled just the same.  “Aurora, I want to be the father to your children.  I love you so much.”

“Of course it’s a yes.” she said, smiling. “I’ll go talk to her with you.” 

She leaned into the kiss with a soft purr. “And I want to be the mother of your children, if it’s possible.” she said. “I love you too.”

“Then we’ll talk with her as soon as I’m out of here,” he said, smiling and running a hand through her hair.  “Because I desperately want children with you, Aurora.  So much.”  He kissed her again. 

“And you know I want children with you.” she said, smiling into the kiss. 

He pulled her into a tight hug and laughed.  “I’m so excited at the prospect,” he said.

“As am I.” she said, smiling brightly. “Though, I had been thinking, we could always adopt at some point, if this doesn’t work out.”

Stefan nodded.  “I was thinking about that, too, and I’m glad that’s an option for you,” he smiled.

“I have some good news,” he said, “if you’ll accept it as such.”  He watched her eyes for a moment.

“Okay, what is it?” she asked.

“I think there may be someone who might be able to find a way to help us have a baby,” he said, biting his lip.  “I don’t know if you know of a Miss Winifred Burkle, but she’s currently heading up Terran’s science department.”

He scratched the back of his head.  “She’s amazingly intelligent, and she’s been making some headway into finding out how Living Vampires are in existence.  Which is something Terran previously thought impossible.  If she can do that, I think she might be the one for us to talk to.”

He bit his lip again, looked at her.  “What do you think?” he asked, more than a hint of hope in his voice.

“Oh Stefan,” she murmured. “I….that would be amazing if she could help us.” She smiled and kissed him. “I think it’s wonderful.”
